About The Wharton Graduate Association

The Wharton Graduate Association (WGA) is the student government organization of the Wharton School's graduate program.

The WGA is the primary vehicle for coordinating and managing student activities and initiatives both academic and extracurricular. In addition to student representation, the WGA provides monetary and logistical resources to over 100 different clubs.

Join the Wharton Legacy!

Your admission to The Wharton School is a unique opportunity to take part in a life-changing educational and personal experience, one defined by active student engagement in all aspects. Whether it’s through building a network, playing a sport, exploring a career interest, or otherwise gaining practical leadership experience, you can become part of Wharton’s rich legacy of involvement and leadership by joining the Wharton Graduate Association.

Keep Wharton Traditions alive.

The WGA is the caretaker of Wharton’s MBA traditions and school-wide events, including the Inside Guide, Walnut Walk, Follies, International Cultural Show, Wharton 54, Cohort Paintball, Spring Gala, and countless others. WGA student dues subsidize these events, making it possible for the largest number of students to participate. Members of the WGA are eligible to take part in or attend any of these events (often requiring a sponsored ticket purchase).

Enhance your MBA.

More than 100 student clubs shape the Wharton MBA experience in all areas. They focus on interests ranging from social like the Wine Club to international & cultural like WHALASA to athletic like the Wildmen to professional like the Media & Entertainment Club. The WGA enables countless opportunities for you to create relationships and explore your interests.

Each year the WGA also sponsors nineteen entirely student-run business conferences, from the world-famous Whitney M. Young, Jr., Memorial Conference to new conferences this year focusing on Leadership and the Energy industry. WGA dues fund the common infrastructure for all Wharton MBA clubs and conferences. Your membership in the WGA entitles you to join any WGA club and attend any conference (most of which require additional, smaller membership or attendance fees).
