What are my options for distributing mail to MBA mail folders?

The available options depend on the type of organization wishing to distribute material:

 

·    External organizations (i.e. not a club, department, or organization recognized by the University of Pennsylvania) must use Mailfolder Services to distribute announcements to MBA mail folders, and pay the associated fee.

 

·    Internal organizations that are members of the UPenn community have the option of distributing material directly to mail folders, or may choose to utilize Mailfolder Services at a reduced fee.

I have an event for which I am submitting an announcement.  How far ahead of time should I schedule a mail distribution?

Most students check their mail either once per day or once every other day.  Many students also plan their schedule out at the end of the previous week.  Therefore, for maximum attendance we recommend distributing flyers at least several days before an event and ideally at the end of the previous week.

 

In order to guarantee delivery on the scheduled drop date, Mailfolder Services must receive all hard-copy material by no later than 5:00 pm the day before the scheduled distribution date; electronically-submitted material must be received by no later than 8:00 am on the day before the distribution.

I would also like to distribute mail to the Wharton undergraduate mail folders. Whom should I contact?

"Corporate Advertising Services" is a subset of Delta Sigma Pi that offers many of the same services provided by WGA Mailfolder Services to the Wharton undergraduate community. They can be contacted at: sales@corpadservices.com.

What if I can’t pay by credit card?

Although we strongly prefer all mail folder service requests to be paid through the store, you may also specially request an invoice from wga-mailfolder@wharton.upenn.edu. Make checks payable to “WGA – Mailfolder Services” and mail to:

Do I get a receipt?

When you fill out the request form, you will get a receipt with the details that you filled out. When you pay the amount due through the store, you will get a second receipt for your credit card payment.

Where should I mail my flyers and how many?

As stated on the request form, flyers may be shipped or hand-delivered to:

Estimate 850 flyers for each class, and remember that they must be received before 5pm the day before distribution.

What if I can't get the request form to work?

Some customers have experienced difficulties with the request form on different operating systems. The request form correctly processes when you receive a receipt with the details you filled out. If the form will not process, you are welcome to simply email the details of the distribution to wga-mailfolder@wharton.upenn.edu and then pay through the store.

May I send posters to hang?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests to hang posters of any size due to the limited availability of bulletin board space.
